Forest Service Closure Order 0407-26-01 runs January 15, 2026 through January 15, 2027 while crews repair the debris flows and flood damage from the Forsyth Fire, and it takes in the Whipple, Canal and Equestrian trails plus Dean Gardner Peak. Good thing to know before you point the car up there. Snow Canyon is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and the park's own FAQ calls September through November one of its 2 peak seasons.
