Have you run into this — on either side?

A buyer asked to see a house. The answer was no — not that day. They didn’t argue. They didn’t ask for a different time. They went and saw the next one. I’ve watched that happen more than once. Here’s the part I’d add: every window you close is a window somebody else’s house is open. Access is one of the few things about selling a house you actually control, and it costs nothing. Protecting your own time is fair. I’d just want you to know what it’s trading against.
